There could come a time when you could install a brand new lock on the doors of your Honda Civic. The lock is a solid cylinder within the door that connects to the door latch. Open up the door by removing the interior trim panel to take out the old lock. Install locks on all doors, or else you’ll end up needing completely different keys for various doors.
Honda Civic Door Lock Installation Instructions
1. Increase the window all the best way throughout the door, so it won’t get in the way. Remove the window crank, if geared up, by inserting a particular tool or a wire hook behind it to disengage the clip.

6. Install the brand new lock cylinder within the door and join its clip, then reconnect the rods that hyperlink the latch to the lock and the handle.
7. Reconnect the door’s inside trim panel within the reverse order of installation.
